Sharon Perrin
Author, Illustrator, Editor
Sharon Aloyn Perrin is an author, publisher, entrepreneur, and creative storyteller from Pomona, California. Through her children’s books, she brings together imagination, encouragement, and a heartfelt belief that every child deserves to feel inspired, valued, and capable of wonderful things.
As the founder of Tasti Publishing, Sharon creates stories that invite children to dream, explore, and celebrate who they are. Her books reflect her love for family and her desire to share meaningful messages with young readers. Being a grandmother adds a personal connection to her work, inspiring stories that families can enjoy together and return to as children grow.
Her children’s book, Longer Than a Day, follows Norman, a curious caterpillar who has questions about life, time, and becoming a butterfly. With guidance from Grandpa, Norman discovers comfort in learning about the world and the changes ahead. Their relationship celebrates the wisdom, patience, and love shared between generations.
Through Norman’s journey, Sharon encourages children to stay curious, embrace growth, and appreciate life’s special moments. The story introduces the wonder of butterflies while creating opportunities for thoughtful conversations between children and caring adults. Activities extend the experience, allowing readers to learn and play beyond the story.
Sharon’s growing collection also includes PiggyBear Adventure, Patti! Patti!, and Mya and Her Marvelous Hair! Each title offers its own invitation to discover new places, imagine future possibilities, or celebrate individuality.
Beyond publishing, Sharon is the founder of Street Motivation Magazine and a music artist known as Miz Tasti. Across her creative work, encouragement remains a connecting thread.
Through Tasti Publishing, Sharon continues building a world where stories spark curiosity, strengthen connections, and help children see the beauty in their own journeys. Her goal is to create books that entertain, inspire, and leave young readers with something meaningful to carry into their everyday lives.
