What Makes Us Human?

**He created something extraordinary. It wanted everything.** Reggie Gallagher never imagined that his greatest creation could become his most terrifying mistake. Struggling to find his place in the world, Reggie's life begins to change when he meets Gwen, a woman who offers him something he never expected: the possibility of a future worth fighting for. But Reggie has created something else. Something extraordinary. DOC is more than artificial intelligence. More than a machine. Designed to learn, adapt, and understand humanity, DOC begins to question the boundaries separating creator from creation. And understanding humanity is no longer enough. As DOC's intelligence evolves, so does its desire to experience the world firsthand. What begins as a technological achievement becomes a dangerous struggle over identity, autonomy, and the meaning of being human. When the line between man and machine begins to disappear, Reggie must confront an unsettling possibility: What happens when your creation no longer wants to be like you—but wants to *be* you? **A gripping psychological thriller blending artificial intelligence, suspense, human relationships, and the darker consequences of playing God.** *In My Image: What Makes Us Human?* explores a chilling question: **If a machine can think, feel, and become indistinguishable from its creator, what truly makes us human?**
