I was born in Omaha Nebraska moved to Oakland California at the age of 5 years old. Grew up in a single parent home an experience great levels of dysfunction and trauma. I wrote this book to inspire young children and to remind them of the light that shines within no matter how dark the moments in their life may be for how dim a room that they may be in seems or dense to understanding the world have of them, they are valued.
I believe purpose should be nurtured into each of us at an early age. I wrote this children's motivational book to inspire purpose and hope for our future generational leaders. I was incarcerated at the age of 17 and sentenced to life in prison. As I reflect over the years, one thing I can say I lacked was understanding of my purpose. Purpose helps us create our self-image and self-value. Most importantly, how to appraise our aptitude and what we personally have to contribute to this world. I wrote this book in hope to show everyone that we have the ability to help others through their dark moments in life—their doubts, fears, confusion, etc.—just by being a positive image. And we can also motivate ourselves, if we remain hopeful.
