José Aparecido Peraçoli Moreno is Bishop Emeritus of the Anglican Churches of the Americas (USA), and currently serves in Brazil as a diocesan bishop of the CACI -Communion of Anglican Churches International, by which he was ordained to the episcopate in 2004. His formal and institutional communion is not with the Archbishop of Canterbury, but with Archbishop Randall Pike, Primate of the CACI, whose headquarters are located in Emerado, North Dakota, USA.

Archbishop Randall James Pike is the residing moderator of the Communion of Anglican Churches International (CACI). The CACI upholds apostolic succession through historic episcopal lines from the Church in England, as well as through the Old Catholic Church and Baltic Lutheran traditions. These lines reflect continuity with the apostolic witness of the early Church, including the ministry of Saint Peter.
