Chelsea Amoafi Asante, MSN, BSBA, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, wellness advocate, and founder of Orchid Wellness, a sanctuary for whole-person care serving patients in Texas, New York, and Washington, D.C. With a background spanning business and nursing, Chelsea is uniquely positioned at the intersection of science, soul, and self-reclamation.
Born in Ghana and raised in New York, Chelsea began her career in Human Resources before answering the deeper call to serve through healing. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo, she transitioned into nursing, later completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Louisiana Christian University and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University.
Her professional journey has taken her through emergency rooms, urgent care centers, pediatric clinics, and home health visits, shaping a provider who understands not just symptoms, but the stories behind them. She created the MySWANS™ framework: Sleep, Water, Activity, Nutrition, and Stress Management to help patients, healers and readers return to the basics of wellness with grace and intention.
As a single mother, entrepreneur, and survivor of burnout and profound life transition, Chelsea writes with uncommon vulnerability and lived experience. Her voice is one of truth, tenderness, and transformation.
Chelsea has been featured on The Jeff Crilley Show and the Daring Mom Podcast, and she is the founder of Empower Health Partners and Orchid Wellness Press, where she plans to release additional books and wellness journals grounded in the MySWANS™ lifestyle.
When she’s not writing, teaching, or caring for patients, Chelsea can be found listening to audiobooks, laughing with her two children, or resting without apology.
