Colm and the Enchanted Realm

An unforgettable journey into magic, mystery, and the power of friendship.

When eight-year-old Colm discovers a glowing map hidden at the edge of the Whispering Forest, he unknowingly awakens an ancient enchantment tied to a forgotten realm. With nothing but courage, curiosity, and his blue hat with the red bobble, Colm sets out to uncover the truth behind the map's call. Along the way, he forms an unlikely alliance with Finn, a cautious stranger with secrets of his own, and reunites with his inventive sister Ciara, who brings her wild ideas and fierce heart to the quest. Together, they’ll face talking beasts, riddling shadows, and a mysterious guardian who holds the key to their destiny. But the enchanted realm holds more than magic – it challenges what it means to be brave, to trust others, and to believe in something bigger than yourself. Full of suspense, wonder, and richly illustrated adventure, Colm and the Enchanted Realm is a chapter book for readers aged 7 and up, perfect for fans of heartfelt fantasy, sibling bonds, and stories that last well beyond bedtime.

Author, Illustrator

Colm is a budding young author based in the west of Ireland, where he writes from his creative sanctuary surrounded by nature, imagination, and the occasional biscuit. His work spans from comics to science books—especially about volcanoes, one of his many fascinations. Colm and the Enchanted Realm is his first fantasy novel, created as a true family affair. With help from his inventive younger sister Ciara, and the support of three generations of Lynches, this magical tale has grown from bedtime stories into a book filled with heart, adventure, and sibling mischief.
